Meet the
Chaparral Series
The Chaparral is the wildland, first response, quick attack truck. It is designed to be the first truck out of the station giving other engines the crucial time to setup.

This series of fine fuel grass rigs consists of three models varying with the chassis and the size of the tank.
  • The B-3 is built on a chassis with a 60-64 inch cab to axle measurement, dual rear wheels and 13,000 lb GVW rating with a 300-325 gallon tank. The B-3 is typically built on a Ford F-350 chassis.
  • The B-4 is built on a chassis with a 64 inch cab to axle measurement, dual rear wheels and 14,500 GVW or higher. The B-4 has a 400 gallon tank and is usually built on a Ford F-450 or F-550 chassis.
  • The B-5 is built on a chassis with a 84 inch cab to axle measurement, dual rear wheels and 14,500 GVW or higher. The B-5 has a 500 gallon tank and is usually built on a Ford F-550 chassis.

Note: The Chaparral only meets SAE J1194 standards for Roll-Over Protection in the SEATED position. However, it can be optioned with a Standing ROPS package which meets SAE J1194 in the STANDING position as well.
